Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9:30 am–7 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This really is a no-frills place. Everything was fairly cheap and the owners were super nice! They have a really small screen, so during FIFA season, you can't do DimSum+Soccer, but I think this is a nice place to bring your friends, just chitchat over some tea and dim sum. That's really what life's all about!

We went on a Wednesday mid-afternoon. Not many people there. Service was efficient and good. We ordered various dishes and all were quite good and not at all oily. We enjoyed our meal very much. Prices were quite reasonable. Definitely will go back if we’re in the area again in the future.

This place used to be packed with customers several years back and now it just me at 11:30am for some dim sum since they known for that. There is a parking lot behind the place and sideway that you can park (didn’t know and I parked in paid meter parking a block away). The place is old, just like the town, Chinatown that is. But it’s clean both inside and outside seating area. They got DimSum menu and regular menu. I did both, ordered 2 type of ShiuMai (8 pieces total), and wonton noodle soup. Was very disappointed with the shiumai cause it just rubbery for me even they came out hot and flavorful. As for the noodle soup, it was great, the broth is clear and well cooked, the noodle is perfect chewy but not chewy nor soft. The wonton filling is tasty and there a lot of topping into the soup, I do mean a lot. Really enjoyed the noodle but not the DimSum. The service is nice and friendly and when I came in, it was just me then several local (friends) came in and make the place alive over conversations and laughters. Oh the bathroom is outside way in the back of the parking lot so in case you need to know where.

Tian’s Dim Sum is a great spot for people who’re craving for Dim Sum anytime before 8pm! 🥟 I found this Tian’s because my usual dim sum spot stops serving dimsum after 3pm and I’m sure I’m not the only one that craves for this delicious food in the afternoon! 🥢 The wonton in chile oil is a Must-try! Chicken feet has great texture. I abosutelh loved the pan fried chive dumplings! So juicy! 🚙 Keep in mind it’s in Chinatown, so don’t miss a parking spot! Can’t wait to come again!
